When I was originally writing my memoir, it never occurred to me that my family would encounter the same type of health issues that my parents had been dealing with for many years. It turned out though that both Brad and I are now experiencing ongoing pain problems. Brad has a back problem very similar to my father and I have had several episodes of trigeminal neuralgia (jaw nerve pain). These ailments sometimes make it hard for us to enjoy our new post Army life.
I was so excited when my book was released and had several friends and family purchase my memoir. I had a definite increase in followers on Facebook and Instagram as well. Several people gave my book a five star review. About a month after it was released and we were transitioning from RV living into our “forever” home, I had a severe attack of neuralgia. My sales dropped off and I didn’t feel up to doing anything about it. Now that the holidays are coming to a close, I am feeling so much better. Now, I am making plans to start writing my next book, to get back to a healthy routine, and to promote my memoir so that others that don’t know me but enjoy reading love stories will find out about my book and read about our journey of love.
For 2019, my number one priority will be to greet each new day with a grateful heart. I am so blessed to have Brad, our daughters, our new home, and be a published author. Thanks to all of you that have already read my book. Please join me in letting others know about Made Again ❤️
